WARRANTY, DISCLAIMERS, & PAYMENT POLICIES

Carmine's Import Service - Read carefully.

We warranty our work. We do not refund work.

Warranty

• Most repairs/parts: 5-year limited nationwide warranty (effective March 9, 2026) if serviced per Carmine's schedule or approved equivalent.
• Pre-2010 vehicles: 1 year / 12,000 miles only.
• Tesla: 12 months / 12,000 miles on parts only (labor excluded; no 5-year coverage).
• New engines/transmissions: 2 years / 24,000 miles with proof of service.
• Internal engine repairs: Often 1 year / 12,000 miles.

Conditions (failure voids warranty)

• Must follow factory + Carmine's maintenance schedule.
• Repairs only at Carmine's (or approved nationwide provider).
• Proof of original invoice required.
• Non-transferable.
• Parts must be available.
• Negligence, abuse, or lack of maintenance voids coverage.
• Twice-yearly complimentary inspections at Carmine's required to validate warranty.

No coverage

• Customer-supplied parts (unless stated).
• Tires, wear items (brake pads/rotors, etc.), used parts (unless specified).
• Performance/track parts, motorsport vehicles, pre-existing issues, control module programming failures, transmission after service, commercial vehicles (30 days only), ADAS-related incidents.
• Towing beyond 25 miles.
• Repairs done elsewhere.

Disclaimers

• You authorize all diagnostics, repairs, test drives, and charges.
• Mechanic's lien applies.
• Additional discovered issues are your responsibility.
• No liability for theft, weather, vandalism, Acts of God, pre-existing conditions, or unrelated failures.
• ADAS: Driver fully responsible; Carmine's not liable.
• Used parts: No warranty unless specified; limited to total failure only.
• We disclaim all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness, etc.).

Payment

• 50% deposit required before work starts.
• Full payment due on completion.
• Accepted: Cash, cashier's check, major credit cards, affirm, Sunbit, Klarna, Synchrony, CFNA. No personal checks, No Certified Checks.
• Late: $75 fee (3 days), 3% daily interest + $50/day storage (5 days), lien possible (7 days), sale after 30 days.
• Abandoned vehicles (10+ days): Towed/sold at owner expense.
• Loaner vehicles: $350/day late fee if not returned within 24 hours of notice.

Returns

• No refunds or returns on labor/repairs/parts/fees/tax.

Arbitration

• All legal disputes resolved by binding arbitration only (request within 30 days). No court litigation.

Other

• Estimates non-binding; delays possible.
• No replaced parts returned unless requested.
• Policy subject to change.

In-House Tire Protection Plan Rules

• Requires tires purchased from Carmine’s Import Service.
• Covers only the damaged tire from road hazards (punctures, cuts, impact damage in normal use).
• The vehicle must return to Carmine’s Import Service for all claims, repairs, or replacements.
• Prorated replacement if the tire is non-repairable.
• Proration is based on remaining usable tread depth.
• Tires with 4/32" tread depth or less are not covered.
• Includes free tire rotations during the life of the tire down to 4/32" tread depth.
• Customer pays the prorated new tire cost + mounting, balancing, and taxes.
• Excludes: sidewall damage, run-flats driven while flat, curbing, misalignment, vandalism, off-road use, racing, or collision.
• No coverage for towing, other vehicle damage, or labor beyond tire service.
• Excludes collateral damage to the vehicle, wheel, rim, TPMS sensors, or any other components.
• Maximum of one claim per tire.
• Non-transferable. Proof of purchase is required.
