About Our Staff
Welcome to Carmine's Import Service, Kernersville's only Bosch Authorized Service Center. Please take a minute and read a little about our staff.

Carmine Cupani – Bosch Authorized Technician / Business Manager
Carmine has been serving the European car community of the Triad since 1999. He opened his downtown Kernersville full-service shop in the fall of 2008. Carmine holds several ASE certifications, a Bosch Certification and is trained in several European makes. He also has a degree in Information Technology and is Microsoft Certified, so he can understand, diagnose and repair your new-car technology better than anyone in the area. Carmine's understanding of CAN-BUS topology associated with most late-model vehicle electrical systems is second to none in the Triad. Because of his experience with technology, he is constantly making sure the shop is equipped with the latest factory or factory-level diagnostic equipment that will not only help diagnose problems right the first time, but save the customer unnecessary diagnostic charges. Carmine is married to a former Army Officer and has a two-year-old daughter. He enjoys spending time with his family, driving BMWs with his father (Carmine Sr.) at Virginia International Raceway with the BMW Car Club and watching Family Guy and Seinfeld.

Paul Lee – Parts/Office Manager
Paul has over 20 years of experience working in the Triad with the European automotive community. He has extensive knowledge in automotive repair and parts for European autos. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Information and Library Science which is useful in keeping the shop organized and efficient. Paul enjoys vintage BMW 2002s and bicycle riding.

Edward Dickens – Certified Automotive Technician
Eddie began his automotive career in 1974 working on diesel marine engines. In 1979 he started working at a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Greensboro where he obtained his Factory Certification. Eddie has extensive experience with European autos from engine building to regular servicing. During the 1980s Eddie worked for Volvo where he received his Factory Volvo certification and then Delorean Motor Company for his Delorean Factory Certificate. In the 1990s Eddie worked for a major BMW tuner in the Triad; he was responsible for major and regular repairs and maintenance, and helped build the company BMW race cars. Eddie continues to educate himself on the newer models and enjoys working with Carmine to diagnose complicated vehicles. Eddie is married with two sons. In his spare time, Eddie enjoys his BMW 530i and playing his guitars.

David Gibson – Certified Automotive Technician
David has experience with European vehicles since 2001. He also has a strong automotive background in General Motors, Toyota, Honda, Ford and Chrysler, and is ASE certified in several areas. David is interested in the latest automotive technology including the new Hybrid vehicles. He is married with a five-year-old daughter and enjoys spending time with his family and riding dirt bikes.
