Wendy is the mother of two beautiful children. As a native North Carolinian originally from Fayetteville, Wendy comes from a family of Military background with her father part of Special Forces. She joined the United States Army and earned a rank as a 1st LT Officer after doing many other jobs in the Army such as a Military Police Officer and operated a field hospital. She was stationed all over the world including Germany where she fell in love with BMWs. She was boots on the ground in Somalia as a 60 gunner. Wendy graduated from Guilford College and High Point University earning a Masters Degree. Wendy oversees all front end daily shop operations ran by Dillon and Stuart. While doing all of this, Wendy still manages to take care of 2 children and run a household. Carmine thinks she is Wonder Woman. Wendy enjoys scrap booking, exercising, fashion, high performance driving, spending time with family, going to Church, and some shooting sports. Carmine and Wendy met at a shop when Carmine first fixed her early nineties BMW 525i. They got married in 2005. Wendy daily drives a BMW 528 x-Drive and loves to drive BMW M3’s at VIR with the BMW Club.
Carmine has been serving the European car community of the Triad area since 1999. He opened his full-service shop in downtown Kernersville in 2008. Carmine holds several ASE certifications, a Bosch Certification and is trained in several European, and other Import & Domestic makes and models. He also has a degree in Information Technology and is Microsoft Certified, so he can understand, diagnose and repair your new-car technology better than anyone in the area. Carmine’s understanding of CAN-BUS topology associated with all late-model vehicle electrical systems is second to none in the Triad area. With such experience in modern automotive technology, he is constantly making sure the shop is equipped with the latest factory or factory-level diagnostic equipment that will not only help troubleshoot problems right the first time, but save the customer unnecessary troubleshooting charges. Carmine is married to former Army Officer, Wendy Cupani, and they have a ten year-old daughter and a 7 year old son together. He enjoys working, spending time with his family, and driving on the race track. His favorite television shows are Family Guy and Seinfeld. Carmine drives a 2006 BMW. Carmine also owns a BMW i3 as well. He constantly switches cars to stay ahead of the curve in comparison to other shop with regards to technology. Carmine is a High Performance Driving Instructor for the BMW Car Club of America as well as a BMW Tarheel Chapter Sponsor, he also enjoys modifying BMWs with DINAN high performance parts and driving these at the racetrack to test and see what can be improved or what the staff should recommend to customers for their high performance needs. Carmine has owned over 80 different European vehicles since he started driving so his experience with even the smallest detail is second to none. He even spends time at new car dealerships test driving the newer makes and learning how the new systems work so he can mentor customers when the time comes. Carmine is a fanatic about making sure our shop has the best equipment and latest information for the vehicles we service.
Stuart’s interest for European cars started at an early age while spectating at local Auto Cross and High Performance Track Day events. He joined our team of Service Consultants in 2016 and plans to expand his knowledge through his job and training. Stuart is working toward an ASE certification during his stay with us. He owns a cat, Milos, named after the Seinfeld character. Stuart enjoys all aspects of precision high performance driving and control. Other hobbies include hiking, cycling, and driving the great local roads of the Northern Triad Area. Stuart hopes one day to own and restore a round-tail light BMW 1600 or 2002.
Steven C. Hundley
Steve began his career as a detailer at a Ford detailer at the age of seventeen and shortly became an apprentice technician at the age of eighteen. At age twenty-one he started his European Automotive career working with Jaguars, Mercedes-Benz, and BMWs. By twenty-five years of age he was an ASE Master Certified technician and still is today with continuing education. Steve continuously attends advanced education courses for all European marques including BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, VW, Mini, Volvo, Land Rover and others with Carmine. Steve is also part of the Certified Installer LN engineering program that Carmine belongs to and our Porsche engine specialist. Steve currently holds not only his ASE Master Technician certification but also and ASE Service Consultant, ASE Parts, Master Toyo Tire Specialist, and HVAC 609 as well so he can pretty much bounce around the shop helping anyone needing assistance. Steve is married with 3 daughters. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, camping, gardening, shooting sports, and going to the beach. Steve has a goal of purchasing some property in the North Carolina Mountains one day, purchase and Porsche 911 C4S, and retire around the age of 60.
Josh obtained his ASE Master Technician Certification at the early age of 20 after graduating from the Universal Technical Institute for Automotive. Josh worked in a BMW race shop environment in his early years and continued his European automotive at Carmine’s Import Service and has earned several certifications. Josh happens to also be Ford Certified, Light Diesel Certified, and holds an HVAC 609 Certification to meet the latest EPA requirements. Josh enjoys high performance driving, snowboarding, spending time on the lake along with outdoor sports such as hunting and shooting. Josh plans to get married, advance through the ranks at Carmine’s Import Service and one day run the shop once Steve and Carmine are retired. He would also love to own a BMW M3 race car and continue to love the American Dream. Josh is excellent at what he does and performance his job with precision and care. He also maintains the company BMW racecar and also takes care of most of the Dinan installations and engineering that take place inside our facility.
Adam Howell a native to High Point, North Carolina and has joined our team with experiences with European Cars as well as Japanese and American vehicles. He is currently working on acquiring his ASE Master Certification to help further his education and knowledge in the automotive industry. He has worked with his father at a young age working on race cars that he would then drive at Virginia International Raceway (VIR). Adam is an avid car enthusiast and is trying to get more involved with Auto Crossing and Racing in the community. Eventually Adam wants to go back to school to study mechanical and electrical engineering. Adam enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as working on his track car that he and his friend purchased together. Adam is an excellent technician who does quality repairs like the rest of our staff and we hope to have him years to come.
Connor comes from a pure European background of automobiles. He is very technical and great at what he does. He was born in Canada and moved to the United States as a child. He enjoys fly fishing and cigars. He loves driving his Audi Allroad Bi-Turbo.
David is our Parts and Inventory Specialist. He also helps around the shop doing everything from detailing vehicles to shuttling customers. David is new to the Euro car world. He is a ‘Jeep’ man, but is coming around. David is a Kernersville native who enjoys spending time with his family, watching sports and listening to and playing music. David plays guitar and collects vinyl records. He is a great asset to our business who always gets the job done no matter what it is.
Paul has over 21 years of experience working with the European automotive community in the Triad area. He has extensive knowledge in automotive repair and parts for European autos. Paul holds a Master’s Degree in Information and Library Science which is useful in keeping the shop organized and efficient. Paul enjoys vintage BMW 2002s and bicycle riding. Paul drives a Saab for daily duty and a BMW 2002 for pleasure.
Ally was born in 2007 right here in North Carolina. She’s grown up with Carmine’s Import Service her whole life. Her favorite thing to do is shop for clothing, do mathematics, and draw emojis. Ally’s favorite car is the Delorian from Back to The Future, The Movie, because she says it can go back in time. She wants to grow up to be a crime stopper and study forensics. Ally’s favorite movie is Uncle Buck and Back to The Future II. Ally is an excellent artist and contributes to the decisions that her dad makes in advertising artwork and campaigns before approval.
Carmine Cupani II
Little Carmine was born in North Carolina in 2010. He enjoys hanging out with his dad at the shop, loves to wash cars, and playing Football. His favorite food is Mac and Cheese. His favorite car is a BMW M3 but currently drives a Porsche GT3 (Power Wheels). He also loves playing with Matchbox cars. Although dad wants him to go to college, Carmine insists he will work at the shop instead.
